Hi,
well you have a couple of options as far as ignition goes. You can lock the distributor up so it gives a fixed trigger out to the ECU. This is OK, but the better option is to fit a 36-1 wheel to the crank pulley and a sensor. This you could then run 3 coils from, so no need for a distributor, the ECU would fire the coils in a wasted spark format.
